Tips making on stick drum

1. timber
Type of wood is of resilience and response from the stick. Making maple wood sticks are lightweight and can be played quickly with the amount of flex that much.
Hickory wood has a smaller flex, but it has a loud sound and durable.

2. Tip shape
Tip if its full tear drop shaped buyi will produce a lower cymbal. Tip of the barrel-shaped tip produces a broader sound, and very good to play in the studio. And a small circle-shaped tips, produces a lighter sound (high). Tips form a large circle produces a more dense sound.

3. The length of stick
The length of stick affect leverage. Beasar growing power of leverage, the greater the force of each blow. Some drummers prefer shorter sticks to produce better control, but a long stick though, could have good control, as long as they can mengeseimbangkan correctly.

4. Diameter (thickness)
The thickness of a stick affect the weight, strength, and sound projection of a stick. Stick a thicker more durable, and produce a better sound. Small stick get the highest sound light and fast.

5. taper
Taper the neck stick flex and affect influence the nature of a stick. The longer the tapernya produce more flex and faster response. Taper shorter course provides a little more flex, but adds to the strength of the stick.

6. Stick Shoulder
Location Shoulder it shows what the sound like the sound generated by a drum stick on the head. He is also acting as a fulcrum point.
